The Rescue Project is an 8 week event of great meals, engaging conversations and answers to life’s tough questions.
During each weekly session, attendees gather for food, watch a video prepared by Fr. Riccardo and the team at ACTS XXIX and have conversations in response to what they have encountered.
The Rescue Project offers a way of seeing reality, and of making sense of the world, history, and life that is vastly different from the story our modern culture tells.

We are a group of Catholic Home Educators based in the Fort Wayne area striving to fulfill our duty to teach our children in the faith. As St. Pope John Paul II expressed in his Letter to Families, (2 February 1994 ) “Parents are the first and most important educators of their own children, and they also possess a fundamental competence in this area: they are educators because they are parents.” Our members span throughout Fort Wayne.
Throughout the year we organize events, activities, and social gatherings where Catholic Homeschool families can meet in support of one another. Some example activities include: All Saints Day party, St. Valentine’s Day party, Homeschool Gatherings, First Friday Masses, and Potlucks.
Monthly Gatherings @ 7:00-8:30 PM in the church Visit the Kingdom Builders' website for a full schedule.
Kingdom Builders invites all women to claim their inheritance of peace and joy. This begins by attending a Kingdom Builders Gathering. These Gatherings take place once a month for 90 minutes and are broken into two 45-minute segments:
Teaching: The Teaching and monthly theme come from the Scriptures proclaimed at Sunday Masses during that month, coupled with inspiration from the lives and writings of the saints. The Teachings are humorous, deep, and inspiring with real-life applications for living the faith.
Eucharistic Adoration: Our Builders take the time to be loved by Jesus during Adoration at each Gathering. We adore Our Lord through contemporary praise and worship music that connects to the theme of the Teaching.
The Kingdom Builders Mission is to build God’s Kingdom within the heart of every woman. Our efforts to build continue through personal prayer and planning at home. Kingdom Builders inspires women to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit to set goals for physical health, family dynamics, holy friendships, strong marriage, and more. These are ALL part of what St. John Paul II referred to as our Feminine Genius. We want to honor God in all these areas of our life.
Ladies, this is not just another item on your long “to-do” list. This is an invitation for God’s beloved daughters to take the time to be loved and transformed by their Heavenly Father. We are the crown jewels of God’s creation. Come build with us.

Sharing words to create truth and beauty that reflect human experiences and bring glory to God can be as complex as writing a novel or as short and sweet as sending a note of encouragement to a friend. No matter your style or method, writing is a charism from God, and if it’s one of yours, or even if it’s a strong desire you wish to explore, we want you to join us in a Writers’ Group at St. Vincent’s on the third Thursday of the month. Communication through the written word presents endless possibilities for discovering meaning, purpose, and joy in our relationship with God and the Church. Through a safe and loving environment of friendship and trust, we can teach and learn from each other how best to accomplish our mission as intentional disciples.
