Confirmation Retreat Page

In preparation for Confirmation, 8th Grade students will attend one retreat during the coming year.  In searching for the best way to reach the hearts of our students at this pivotal moment in their lives, the Confirmation retreat at Damascus Catholic Missions has been found to be the most effective retreat and the one we believe will best prepare our students for Confirmation. 

This is a retreat at a camp called Damascus in Centerburg, Ohio.  It is a dynamic retreat which includes not only powerful sessions to help your child encounter Jesus, but it also includes opportunities for high adventure activity.   We will take a bus to and from the retreat.

The cost is $155.  This retreat is completely worth it! What better time to invest in a life-changing experience for your child than before Confirmation? 

The Transportation fee is optional, but every student must fill out the permission slip.  The parish will subsidize the cost of the bus if you are unable to pay the full amount.  However, your credit card payment serves to validate your permission for the bus; therefore, we ask that each person pay at least $5.  If you are able to contribute to the cost of your child's bus trip or are able to additionally help cover the cost of another student,  the parish thanks you for your contribution as well.

Because we are responsible for each spot reserved, we did not reserve enough spots for every single student.  We have been told there should be extra spots available, but this is not guaranteed.  For this reason it is very important to register as soon as possible so that we can get more spots if needed.  If you do not register early, we cannot guarantee you a spot and you will need to attend a retreat with a different parish.  If you register anytime later than 2 weeks before the retreat, there will be a $50 late fee.

How to Register for the retreat:

1. Login or create an account.

2. Go to "My Reservations"

   a. In the top left corner, there are three lines that you should click and then it will

   lead you to a sidebar that will display the different options. Select the first option

   listed, “my account”

   b. From there it will lead you to a page that will have a box that says “My

   Reservations”. Click this box.

3. Click on "New Reservation"

4. Click on "Add Person"

   a. This will ask for your child's information, and then you will add your child.

5. Click "I belong to a group that has reserved space" in red letters

   a. This can be an easy step to miss

   b. It will be under a section that says “Select a session” and under the box that says

   “Filters”

6. Enter our group code: CVINCEFORTW25

7. Select reservation

   a. From here it will ask you to confirm your information, and then it will lead you

   through the rest of the registration.

   1. You can fill out the buddy request, medical information/insurance,

      permission waivers, prayer permission, refund policy, and donation

      options.

8. At the end, you can choose to add additional reservations for other campers if you have

   more than one child needing to be registered, or you can proceed to payment.

9. For the payment portion, you will either pay via credit card/bank information or with a

   sponsorship code (if provided by your group coordinator from the parish/school you are

   attending the retreat with)

10. Once payment is completed, select “Complete Order” to submit your registration
