Dear Parent,

Thank you for choosing St. Vincent de Paul School for your child’s education. I know that you will be both impressed and pleased with the academic and spiritual formation your child will experience at our school.

St. Vincent de Paul School offers instruction for grades K through 8 and operates under the auspices of the St. Vincent de Paul Church within the diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Indiana. St. Vincent de Paul School was established in 1956 and eventually expanded to serve the growing educational and spiritual needs of the parish. Today, the school serves a student population of approximately 770 students.

The school’s mission is to enable all the students to live their Catholic faith and to achieve academic success. The school community is an integral part of the Catholic Church’s mission to proclaim the Gospel, build faith communities, offer service to others and celebrate through worship. The school’s Catholic identity is strengthened by an integrated curriculum rooted in Gospel values and Catholic teachings. A positive school climate is established through the creation of a Christian environment that actively involves students, teachers, parents and community members in recognizing and respecting individual differences. St. Vincent’s follows a traditional curriculum. Material presented in math, social studies, science, Language Arts and foreign language classes is aligned with state standards, with emphasis on development of higher level thinking skills and techniques for problem solving. All students participate in “specials” classes that include fine arts and computer instruction.
