There are many helpful programs already functioning here in our parish. Small Christian Communities are a way to “be church” together, to restructure the large parish into smaller groups for adult growth in the Christian life. They are an avenue to help parishioners encourage and support each other to live in the love of Jesus and to live out the mission of Jesus in the world. Each Small Christian Community has a pastoral facilitator who serves for 2 to 3 years as an animator and as their group representative to the larger parish. The Small Christian Community pastoral facilitator stays in communication with the parish pastoral associate who in turn supports and resources the SCC.
