Rekindle the Fire with some help from Deacon Freiberger, raked out the mulch at the school playground.

June 3rd, 2006

We removed the chalk boards from six classrooms at St. Vincent’s school.

May 20th, 2006:

Rekindle the Fire moved the Jubilee Cross from St. Vincent's to St. John Bosco in Churubusco. The event was supposed to be a parish wide one but due to some very unfortunate circumstances, RTF were the only ones there to carry the cross. We did rallied after mass and had the cross loaded and moved by 10:00 a.m. Look at the Gallery for picutres.

March 22nd - May 10th, 2006

Rekindle The Fire picked the ball and kept it moving when there was an unexpected opening in the 7th grade CCD class at St. Vincent's. The kids were excited about our being there and even gave candy and letters of appreciation to the catechists.

January 28th, 2006:

Rekindle the Fire helped a family in need. We helped save Cheryl Cronin and her family from being hit with fines for city code by tearing down a 300' fence and cleaning debris from her yard. Pictures are here.

December 17th, 2005 & January 7th, 2006

We painted Bev Lowery's kitchen, dining room, and living room after a grease fire caused extensive smoke damage to the walls and cieling of those rooms.

August 20th, 2005:

Painted the Life Teen house, with the help of the teens, in preparation for the parish picture directory.

August 6th, 2005:

Spread the mulch on the playground outside of the parish hall.

June 18th, 2005:

Replaced ceiling tiles in old church. Painted two classrooms.

June 4th, 2005:

Took down ceiling tiles in the old church.
