Divorced/Separated Catholic Support
St. Vincent’s, in collaboration with other parishes, is offering a new video/discussion format on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays in the Spiritual Center beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m. and ending between 8:30-9:00 pm. We will be meeting in a new location this year: in the Parish Library (click here for a map). The discussion groups are facilitated by core team members, which will give you an opportunity to form a support community.
Whether you have been divorced for years, or just starting the process, there will be something that will make a difference for you. You need not be Catholic to attend; it is open to anyone needing a safe place to heal. The program does not require attendance at each session. Each session can stand alone if the topic fits your needs.
The 12 session program features 30-minute DVD shows that cover topics of shock, denial, anger, grief, guilt, forgiveness, money, the courts, the kids, the ex-spouse, annulment, dating, sexuality, spirituality, remarriage or staying single, and much more. This Christian program is based on the teachings of the Catholic Church and open to anyone who needs comfort, counsel and clarity after a divorce. Whether you got divorced ten days ago or ten years ago, the program offers valuable insight for everyone. The discussion groups are facilitated by core team members.
